We're Keith and Mallory Barger, a husband-and-wife team with 25+ years of hands-on home maintenance and renovation experience in homes across Colorado Springs.

Keith learned the trades from his father, Steve, who owns a handyman business in Georgia, and sharpened his problem-solving, project management and attention to detail in an engineering career in Space Operations. Mallory spent 15 years in higher education, building her skills in management, programming, communication and organization, before becoming a stay-at-home mom to our three children.

We've done the glamorous projects and the hidden ones, like the trench Keith dug under our basement to replace failing cast-iron pipes. That hidden work, and the attention to detail behind it, is what we take the most pride in. Through our work, we want every family to feel safe, respected and treasured.

Why “Cherrie”

Named for Grandma Billie Marie “Cherrie” Ard.

Grandma Cherrie and Papa Joel taught us that caring for people isn't about grand gestures. It's about showing up, paying attention, taking pride in serving those you love, and a strong faith in the Lord.

These values are the center of Cherrie Home Maintenance.

Cherrie Home is named for Grandma and Papa, but it honors our whole family. We're so blessed by the parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and siblings who have poured into us over the years and still inspire us every day.
